Atlantic 49 is a regional lottery game available only in the Atlantic provinces of Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador). It's a 6/49 lottery, meaning players choose six numbers from a pool of 49.

How to Play:

1. Purchase a ticket for $1.
2. Select six different numbers from 1 to 49. You can choose your own numbers or opt for a Quick Pick (computer-generated random numbers).
3. Mark your numbers on the selection slip and present it to the retailer.

Draws: Draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday.

Winning: To win a prize, you need to match at least 2 of the 6 numbers drawn, plus the bonus number for a free ticket.

Jackpot: The Atlantic 49 jackpot is a fixed $1 million. If more than one ticket matches all six numbers, the jackpot is divided equally among the winning tickets.

Bonus Number: A bonus number is drawn alongside the main numbers. Matching the bonus number in combination with some of the main numbers can increase the prize amount or qualify for a prize.

Odds: The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 13,983,816.
