DC-4 is a daily numbers game offered by the DC Lottery. Players choose four digits, each ranging from 0 to 9. There are multiple ways to play, each offering different odds and prize amounts.

How to Play

1. Choose Your Numbers: Select four digits, each from 0 to 9. You can choose the same digit multiple times (e.g., 1111 or 1223).
2. Select Your Play Type: Decide how you want to match your numbers. Options include:
• Straight: Match all four digits in the exact order they are drawn.
• Box: Match all four digits in any order. The prize amount for a Box play depends on the combinations of digits you choose. If you pick 1122, you can only win the Box prize if the winning numbers are any order of 1122. A box with unique digits, such as 1234, has different prize values. If you pick 1112 the prize is different than if you pick 1123 or 1234.
• Straight/Box: Combines a Straight and Box play on the same ticket. If your numbers match in the exact order, you win both the Straight and Box prize for your selected play type. If your numbers match in any order, you win only the Box prize for your selected play type.
• Front Pair: Match the first two digits in exact order.
• Back Pair: Match the last two digits in exact order.
• Front 3: Match the first three digits in exact order.
• Back 3: Match the last three digits in exact order.
3. Purchase Your Ticket: Buy your ticket from an authorized DC Lottery retailer.
4. Wait for the Draw: DC-4 drawings are held twice daily, typically at midday and evening.
5. Check Your Numbers: Compare your numbers to the winning numbers drawn.
